PhantomPrints is a small custom 3D printing studio in Sewanee, Tennessee. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need to quote, make, and ship your order, and we never sell your information to anyone.

What we collect

Quote requests. When you submit our quote form we receive your name, email address, project description, optional budget and rush preferences, and any reference images or 3D files you attach.
Live chat. If you use the chat widget, we receive the messages you send and the name/email you choose to share there.
Order details. If you place an order, we collect a shipping address and payment confirmation. Payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal, or Venmo — your card details go directly to those processors and never touch our servers.

We don't run accounts, we don't set advertising trackers, and we don't buy or sell marketing data.

How we use it

To respond to your quote request and discuss your project.
To design, print, and ship your order.
To send order updates (quote, approval renders, tracking).
To keep basic business records (invoices, order history).

Reference photos you send — of pets, people, or projects — are used only to create your model. If we'd like to feature your finished piece in our gallery or on social media, we'll ask first.

Printing happens live on stream

Part of what makes PhantomPrints special is that we print live at kick.com/phantomprints. That means your finished piece may appear on a public livestream while it prints. We announce prints by first name or project type only — never your contact details. If you'd prefer your order printed off-stream, just say so in your quote request and we'll happily keep it private.

Services we rely on

These third parties process limited data on our behalf when you use the site:

Netlify hosts this site and stores quote-form submissions, including attached files. (Netlify privacy policy)
Tawk.to powers the live chat widget and may set cookies needed for chat to work. (Tawk.to privacy policy)
Kick provides the embedded live stream player on our homepage. (Kick privacy policy)
Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve fonts and a 3D viewer library; loading them shares your IP address with those CDNs, as with any web request.
Stripe / PayPal / Venmo handle payments under their own privacy policies.

The 3D Studio runs in your browser

Files you preview in our Live 3D Studio are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to us — close the tab and they're gone.

How long we keep things

We keep quote requests and order records as long as we need them to serve you and meet tax/bookkeeping obligations. If you'd like your information deleted, contact us and we'll remove everything we're not legally required to keep.

Your choices

Ask us what information we have about you.
Ask us to correct or delete it.
Ask us to print your order off-stream.
Decline to use chat or file uploads — email or a phone call works too.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be called out on the homepage or stream.
